We have two very large dogs - A 9st German Shepherd and a 9.5st Newfoundland and this pool is ideal for them. Yes it punctures sometimes but we have got through only three in the last 2 years. It gives them hours of fun - washes them down when their paws are muddy, but most importantly it is essential for keeping cool in the summer. Strongly recommended

This pool is much larger and deeper than the average child's pool. With harder set sides it isn't going to burst unlike the inflatable ring pools and the sides don't get hot, even in the hot summer heat ( we live in Cyprus, so it gets very hot). My son (16 months old) loves his slide in the pool too and it's a good fit. I bought the same item for his playmate and her parents agree it's the best pool they have had :)

I bought this as a present for my 8 year old sister and the next day her and all her friends were havin a ball in it!! Very happy as it is a great size, 5 eight year olds were splashing about!
Only thing to consider is that it takes a good wee while to fill because of the size but now I know I set it up half an hour before hyper kids start screaming!!
